There is a strong relationship between the fading of sublimation prints and sublimation transfer paper. Because the dye ink easily dissolves in water and fades due to poor quality sublimation paper. At present, the inkjet printing process uses a principle in which the sublimation paper is set at a high temperature as the process of the ink-jet printing press. The principle of sublimation paper is at high temperature the ink film will melt further, and then melting in the cloth. Therefore, the above condition implies that sublimation printing with a poor transfer paper washes out the ink after washing. Thus, gradually leading to fade.

Sublimation printing commonly employs inkjet printing. Therefore the cloth should be of cotton or a polyester fiber material.

Discoloration due to sunlight:

Sublimation prints easily fade in the direct exposure of sunlight due to ultraviolet radiation. It has nothing to do with the sublimation paper and ink. The primary reason is long-term exposure to print under direct sunlight. It fades the sublimation print faster.
