Prestashop is purely for eCommerce websites, while WordPress is good for blogging.
You can also set up a blogging website with Prestashop, but the setup process is lengthy. For a larger inventory of products, Prestashop is more powerful than WordPress. Moreover, it is a robust eCommerce platform.
Whereas WordPress is also good to start a simple eCommerce store. But when you increase items above 500, it becomes a problem to manage them in WordPress. While in Prestashop, you can run medium to large-scale online businesses with thousands of product catalogs, payment checkout systems, and other add-on integrations.
WordPress is easy to manage for a startup-level eCommerce website, fast, loaded with a variety of themes that are somehow lacking in Prestashop.
