Learning to remove different types of ink stains can be tough for some. However, the task is not that difficult once you get the hang of it. But make sure to pretreat and dab before washing.

The most common type of stains can be cleaned in a simple wash, but for other problems, you need to apply some other options. There are a number of inks on the market and each poses a different type of treatment. However, the good news is that you don’t have to trash all your clothes just because there is a stubborn ink stain.

Ballpoint ink – It can be removed using some detergent and rubbing alcohol. Just place the stained clothing item over a dry white towel and apply some rubbing alcohol or hairspray over the stain.

Permanent Ink – Removing permanent markers is extremely difficult to remove from clothing. But, if you decide to treat right after the accident, it can still be removed. You will need some dish soap, ammonia, detergent etc.
